In this episode…
We interview designer, shadowbox maker, and speech pathologist John du Bois. John discusses his habits and routines on writing RPGs and designing board games, how he integrates board games into his career, and his hobby of selling board game shadowboxes in his Esty shop. John is publishing Avignon: A Clash of Popes through Button Shy Games and it will hit Kickstarter January 5th.
It was great to have John on the podcast. He’s been a friend of ours for a few years now and helped us play test a game design or two during Happy Mitten’s early days. A few fun facts about John is that he created a game called “Odd Socks,” which he packages in weird looking socks, and has a really creative etsy shop we wish we had thought of (which we discuss on this episode). We hope you enjoy 2015’s final episode, Happy New Year!

Funny that you guys laughed about someone listening to this for the first time, because I just discovered this podcast and listened to this one for the first time… I’m gonna keep listening though. You haven’t scared me away yet. 🙂
